 Ultramarine blue pigment is a sulfur-containing complex of aluminum silicate with a crystalline structure associated with lapis lazuli. Therefore has a very bright and pure color, when a relatively small amount of ultramarine or ultraviolet is added to the medium of its action to produce a visual effect, this medium (e.g., plastic) usually shows a congenital yellow hue, ultramarine can be used as a small number of additives to neutralize the yellow in the medium to produce a natural white, we call it blue light whitening effect.
