Raffia masterbatch is a granular colorant manufactured by uniformly loading high-quality pigments/dyes into carrier resin through high-speed intensive mixing and twin-screw extrusion processes. Specifically designed for plastic tape/fiber extrusion (raffia drawing) processes, it is widely used in the production of woven bags, FIBCs (jumbo bags), fishing nets, safety nets, and more. By using masterbatch, coloring and product processing are completed in a single step, simplifying the production process while effectively saving energy.

Raffia masterbatch is primarily used in the extrusion process for plastic tapes and fibers, providing coloring, filling, or functional modification. Key application areas include:

1. Woven Bags & FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers): This is the most significant application. It is used for coloring the tapes of PP/PE woven sacks, tarpaulins, and FIBCs. High demands are placed on dispersion, color strength, and the tensile strength of the final product.

2. Transportation & Logistics: Used for coloring conveyor belts.

3. Fishing & Outdoor Equipment: Applied in the production of fishing nets, twines, and ropes. These applications often require high resistance to aging and weather.

4. Construction & Safety: Used in manufacturing safety nets for construction sites.

5. Daily Commodities & Textiles: Applied in the production of non-woven fabrics, bath sponges, etc..

Processing Recommendations:

• Recommended addition ratio: 1%-5% (adjustable based on requirements)

• Pre-drying at 80°C for 2-4 hours recommended for hygroscopic carriers (PA, PET must be dried)

• Mix thoroughly with raw material before processing

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep containers sealed when not in use. Effective shelf life up to 24 months
