• Appearance : Bright yellowish red powder with high tinting strength. Insoluble in water and ethanol; dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid to form a fuchsine solution, and precipitates as a bluish red solid upon dilution; dissolves in concentrated nitric acid to present a brownish red color.

Application Fields

1. Ink Industry 
   It is a commonly used pigment for gravure printing inks. Thanks to its excellent steam resistance, it is also suitable for coloring food packaging inks, ensuring the safety and color stability of package printing. Meanwhile, it can be applied in flexographic printing inks and offset printing inks, delivering bright and uniform red shades for package and label printing to meet the color requirements of various printing processes.
2. Plastic Industry                                                                 It has broad compatibility and can be used for coloring a wide range of plastic products including PVC, PE, PP, EVA, PS and ABS. For instance, it prevents color migration-induced appearance defects in flexible PVC products; it withstands high-temperature processing conditions in PE product manufacturing, and is often adopted in the production of plastic films, plastic toys and plastic containers. It can also be incorporated into color masterbatches to facilitate batch coloring of plastic products in subsequent processes.
3. Coating Industry
   It is mainly used in mid-range interior and exterior coatings such as industrial coatings and architectural decorative coatings. Although its light resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance are not top-tier, its bright hue provides eye-catching red effects for coatings. In addition, it has good compatibility with clear coats, meeting the coloring needs of coatings with moderate performance requirements.
