Pigment Red 31 is a bluing red color and is mainly used for coloring rubber products. It has excellent light fastness, no bleeding, heat-resistant water, soap, detergent, ethanol, etc.; also used for fabric printing and ink coloring; used for polystyrene, Acrylic resin coloring, giving transparent red, such as car taillights, signal lights, etc., heat resistance 280ºC/5min, light resistance up to level 7. It is mainly used for the coloring of rubber products, but also for the coloring of inks and coatings.This variety is a red azo pigment synthesized with a red-based KD bass as a diazo component, giving a blue-red red hue, similar to magenta, even similar to quinacridone red (CI Pigment Red 122), but slightly darker.
