Color characteristics: The color is bright and has a strong golden color characteristic. The color light is more yellow than pigment red 57:1, making it the yellowest among azo lake pigments, presenting a bright yellow red hue.
Chemical stability: It is sensitive to acids/bases and will undergo color changes in different acidic and alkaline environments. For example, it appears dark brown in potassium hydroxide alcohol solution, red precipitate in aqueous solution with hydrochloric acid, cherry red precipitate in concentrated sulfuric acid, and brownish red precipitate after dilution.
Light resistance and weather resistance: The light resistance is poor, and it may fade severely after one week of outdoor exposure. The light resistance level is generally 3-4 levels (on an 8-level scale); The weather resistance is also not strong, with a rating of about level 2 (level 5 system).
Heat resistance: It has good heat resistance and can withstand 260 ºC/5min in some applications, such as HDPE (high-density polyethylene).
Other properties: It has good solvent resistance, the ink produced has good fluidity, and also has high coloring power and brightness.
